Investigators probing the Miramonte teacher molestation case have found approximately 200 more photographs of child abuse taken by former teacher and suspect Mark Berndt.
Authorities investigating the child sex abuse by teachers at the Los Angeles school discovered the new images. These images are in addition to the close to 400 images that were discovered earlier. The new Miramonte child sex abuse images were discovered in a computer at a CVS Pharmacy, in the same place where the earlier photographs that seem to implicate Berndt, were found. Investigators have identified all, but 25 victims in these photographs.
Berndt currently faces 23 counts of lewd conduct, which include crimes related to placing cockroaches on the children’s faces, feeding them semen-laced cookies and binding children while he took pictures of them. These crimes allegedly took place between 2008 and 2010, and the victims were believed to be between 6 and 10 years of age at the time.
